Developed a wide range of creative work including product designs, logos, illustrations, skateboard graphics, apparel, and video content. Each project was crafted to reflect the brand’s playful and irreverent identity while maintaining a cohesive visual language across all products and media.
Three major projects involved collaborations with Moomin Characters, Tom of Finland, and J. Karjalainen (Famous Finnish Artist), all of which were very well received and gained international press coverage. In these collaborations, I primarily worked with catalog imagery — reviewing an extensive archive of designs and selecting the ones that best suited each project. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to add color to some of Tove Jansson’s original black-and-white illustrations, which was both an honor and a creative highlight.
Of course I had to include the Father & Son graphic — an iconic deck design that has gone through many iterations. It started as a quick sketch for Happy Hour, yet somehow became one of the most recognizable deck graphics in Finland. It has been tattooed many times, and people still frequently request reissues of it.
